From the third grade, I attended The Robert Muller School (RMS) until I graduated from high school. The Robert Muller School was based on the teachings in Education in the New Age by Alice Bailey and principles in The World Core Curriculum by Robert Muller, former Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations.

During my time at RMS, I participated in The International Children’s Peace Council in Switzerland and India with children from around the world. While I was in India, I resided at an Ashram of The Mother, and the eco-spiritual village of Auroville founded by Sri Aurobindo. I participated in and held leadership positions in the Model United Nations in the Dallas, Texas area.

I started my conscious spiritual practice over 35 years ago as a student, later progressing into the role of advanced teacher and group co-creator of western-based esoteric wisdom traditions.

I graduated from Advanced Teacher Training in the Wisdom of Lucille Cedercrans. My father, Henry Guy, was my first spiritual mentor. We virtually co-taught the Wisdom courses to students from North and South America, Oceana, and Europe - The Path of Initiation, The Soul and Its Instrument, The Disciple and Economy, The Nature of the Soul, Cooperative Leadership, Corrective (Creative) Thinking, Teacher Training, Advanced Teacher Training, and Headquarters Series.

I co-created Dialogue as Service with Henry as an intuitive group approach to teaching spiritual courses using the technique of spiritual alignment, projection and intuitive dialogue in a meditative state.

I co-created and co-organized spiritual gatherings and group meditations in Ojai, California, Estes Park, Colorado, Dallas, Texas and Washington D.C.. We guided meditations for the evolution of the Planet Earth at the National Cathedral (guerrilla-style) and the steps of the Capitol building.

I graduated from Intuition University with Sara Wiseman.

I learned to read the Akashic Records from The Little Soul School with Laura Coe.

I have worked with shamans (incarnate and not incarnate) at Lake Chapala in Mexico in 2023 and Louisiana, USA. I made a spiritual pilgrimage later that summer for a month in Scotland at two Findhorn retreats at their locations in Northern Scotland and the Isle of Iona.

I am a student and practitioner of reading the Akashic Records, deep, transformative plant medicine, shadow-work, Cosmic and Earth-based spirituality, astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys, Tarot, Vipassana Meditation, Alignment Meditation, sacred space, connecting with spiritual guides, energy healing, and Esoeroticism.

I synthetically and intuitively incorporate all my education and practices over the years into my readings and work with clients.

As I am evolving and serving in inner spiritual adventures, and equally as energetic in exoteric activities.

I have taught children from elementary to secondary in both inner city public and rural private schools.

I co-founded the grassroots organization, Obama Dallas, with Molly Hanchey that was eventually folded into the official campaign for President Obama in his first election. I was hired by the Obama campaign as field organizer for Travis County, including Austin, Texas, for the general campaign.

I was later hired as a co-field organizer for the Bill White for Governor campaign for Tarrant County including Fort Worth, Texas, and later transitioned to Voter and Volunteer Education Coordinator for the White campaign for the whole of Texas. I was able to manage all the stress of a campaign by frequently meditating in my car where my co-workers thought I was taking naps!

People often ask if Starshine Guy is my real name? Yes! And yes, my parents were hippies! They named me after the song in the musical Hair, “Good Morning, Starshine”.

The man who sang “Good Morning, Starshine”, William Oliver Swofford, of Oliver was buried in the same cemetery as my grandparents in Dallas, Texas USA. Sort of a morbid fact…

I am a mother of two young adults who live in Austin. My daughter is a manager at a piercing studio and my son works as a manager and trainer for an international gaming company..

I have one sister and three brothers. My sister’s name is “Autumn” (she was born in October). My oldest brother is named “Shanti” which means peace in Sanskrit. He was born on an Indigenous Peoples reservation in Oklahoma while my father was working as a dentist in public health. My next youngest brother is “Sirian”, named after the star Sirius (our last name is “Guy” so they changed the ending to -”ian” ;). My youngest brother is named “Antares” after the large star in the constellation of Scorpio.

I babysat a girl named “Akasha” when I was in high school. Her brothers were named “Hilarion”, “Serapis” (after the Master) and “Polaris” (the Pole Star).

My first spiritual encounter “in the 3D” was in Germany (where I was born at a military hospital). At four-months-old, my parents brought me to a 30-day Transcendental Meditation retreat to receive a blessing in person from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. After I had my own children, I imagined my poor mother trying to meditate for a month with a four-month-old baby!

My hobbies are hiking, camping and photographing in nature, plant medicine, oil painting, writing poetry, traveling, nurturing true friendships, loving animals, film festivals (I like independent, international, and horror films), and exploring, deepening, and broadening my spiritual wisdom and practice.
